Made for long summer days on the lake, this fast charging 12V solar panel is built for adventure. In full sun it will charge a Powerbox 10 in 3-4 hours, or a 7Ah battery in just 2.5 hours! Rated at 50 watts this panel provides 150% more juice then our standard solar panel, while also being waterproof, shatterproof, and half the weight. Alligator clips provide universal compatibility. This panel will charge any 12V Dakota Lithium battery. Can be used while power is being drawn from the battery (in effect you can power some electronics indefinitely). Use multiple panels for a faster charging time or for charging bigger capacity batteries.

HOW LONG TO CHARGE MY BATTERY?

Divide the Ah (capacity) of your battery by 2.8 to determine how many hours to charge your battery. For example, a Powerbox 10 has 10 amps, divide by 2.8 = 3.5 hours. Connect two solar panels to double the charging speed.

Shipping

Free shipping is via ground, and ships from Renewable Home warehouse in Delta, BC.

All lithium batteries (LiFePO4 included) must be shipped via ground shipping. Typical delivery time for in stock batteries is 5-10 business days plus 1-3 days lead time to pack and ship your pack and ship your battery from our warehouse. All batteries ship with hazmat protection which requires additional lead time to pack and ship your order.

Lithium batteries cannot be shipped overnight, or express due to federal shipping restrictions.
Renewable Home will ship your batteries for free anywhere in the lower 48 US States. You will receive an email with a tracking number after your order ships. The USPS does not allow for batteries to be shipped to Post Office boxes (PO Box). Please use a street address.

Larger batteries (over 300 watts) require hazmat shipping. We pay the cost of Hazmat and freight (typically $90 to $150 a battery). You pay $0 for shipping.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is higher due to federal law that requires that batteries ship Air Freight and have Hazmat protection.
Batteries ship UPS Ground + Tracking for domestic shipping. Typical freight time is 5-8 days. You will receive a tracking number when your battery ships.

FedEx, USPS, or DHL is used for international shipping and for Hawaii & Alaska shipments, depending on the product and country. To calculate exact shipping rates please go to checkout and enter your order and shipping address.

This is in order to correctly comply with lithium battery shipping regulations. For all return shipping we recommend using a local shipping service like FedEx office or the UPS Store.

If a product does not meet our high quality standards, then we will issue you a replacement component or fix the original at no additional cost. Replacement components will only be sent after we have received your returned component and finished an inspection to determine the cause of any problems. Do-It-Yourself modifications or damage due to gross negligence or abuse are not covered by the warranty.
